Despite RHL's impressive reputation, Richard Hall started from somewhat more humble beginnings. Read on below to find out the story.

After agricultural college, Richard Hall himself gained commercial experience and here, he realised his passion for plant machinery. At the tender age of 21, Richard decided to purchase his first digger. It was then, in 1996 that 'Richard Hall Groundworks' was formed.

Over the next few years as Richard Hall worked on larger and larger agricultural groundwork contracts, his entrepreneurial flair developed and recognising more construction and development sites could be further assisted, In 2003 he purchased his first lorry. Richard Hall Ltd was born.

Richard’s business then started to dramatically evolve as one lorry grew to become a small fleet - establishing RHL in the world of haulage services.

Richard’s thirst for mechanised working led him to tree and land clearance. He saw the opportunity to offer machine assisted site clearance. Not only promising to considerably reduce the time spent on site he could leave an immaculately machine raked clear site, ready for the ground workers to start. This proved a hit with the construction and housing development clients where the best cost effective and fast clearance is critical.
