HGV Mechanic (Full-time)
RHL are looking for a full time HGV mechanic to carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs. RHL run a fleet of 12 Volvo tractor units with walking floor trailers, Flat trailers, bulk tipper trailers and step frame low loader trailers.
Requirements;
- HGV Mechanic experience
- Knowledge of maintenance & repair procedures
- Driving license
- HGV license beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities;
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs
- Carry out in-house Vamag brake testing
- Carry out Jaltest diagnostics to identify vehicle faults
- Maintain workshop, containers & toolboxes in tidy & working order
- Operate vehicle column lifts when necessary
- Maintain works van in tidy & working order
Hours of work
Job is Mon-Fri with Saturday hours available
Salary
£55,000 - £60,000pa DOE.

HGV Drivers Wanted
As the fleet grows, here at RHL, we require more professional and experienced personnel to drive our haulage services further. There is currently an opportunity for HGV drivers to come and join us delivering and collecting material to and from our customers.
Within your own dedicated truck & trailer you will receive;
- Fridge/Freezer
- Inverter
- Microwave
- Smart TV
- Air Cooled/Heated Cab
- Air Cooled/Heated Seats.
Competitive package includes;
- £500 Signing on bonus - payable after successful 3 month review. Not repeatable within 5 years.

- Company funded CPC - 1 CPC course per year you're with us.
- Overnight allowance - £30 per night with access to shower room & amenities in the yard included.
The ideal candidate will have;
- HGV C+E licence
- Up to date driver CPC card
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn
- At least 2+ years experience
- Knowledge of walking floor trailers is a bonus (but can be trained).
Hours of work
Job is Mon-Fri with Saturday hours available
Salary
Hourly rate negotiated upon interview.
